Strawberry & Banana Protein Smoothie
Smoothies are a great post-workout smoothie or when you need a quick snack when you’re rushed!
Frozen fruit makes chilled smoothies that are thicker in consistency. Purchase fruit in season, when it is less expensive and freeze it for later use.
Ingredients:
½ cup of frozen strawberries
½ banana
½ cup of milk of your choice (my favourite is almond or cashew milk)
1 Tbsp of almond butter (or nut butter of your choice)
You can also mix in your favourite protein powder (i.e. Whey or Vegan Protein)
Throw all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
